BAM BAM – A1080956
Safe - 10-12-2016 Brooklyn
SAFE 10/12/16 A volunteer writes: Bam Bam was very timid at first, but after several weeks of living in style and comfort here at the care center, he seems to be relaxing a bit. You can lure him to the front of his cage with a dollop of soft kitten food, which he can’t resist. He has a charming habit of scooping it up with his paws! Then, before you know it, he’s rolling over and inviting you to rub his handsome forehead. Soon he’s all yours, and you’ll find yourself singing “On the Wings of Cats” (which is like “On the Wings of Love”, but with cats) as he transports you to seventh heaven. This rare treasure is yours for the taking at Brooklyn ACC. But don’t delay–as precious Bam Bam continues to emerge from his shell, he will soon attract many admirers!
A volunteer writes: Bam Bam is a handsome gentleman who minds his manners and presents a certain reserve in his personality. When you are introduced to him, he seems to smile pleasantly and wish you good day. “How do you do, Madame,” Bam Bam seems to say, “it’s nice to make your acquaintance.” But he doesn’t make a move to come forward and shake your hand. If you take the initiative and rub his chin and neck, he closes his eyes and purrs. But that hint of shyness keeps him from expressing what he really might like to say, something like, “won’t you take me home and make me your precious kitty?”
Another volunteer writes: It’s a total mystery why Bam Bam hasn’t been snapped up yet. He’s a huge staff and volunteer favorite and after spending 10 seconds with him, it’s easy to see why. First, he gets your attention with an adorably soft, almost imperceptibly quiet mew. When he has your attention, all he wants is to nuzzle you, purr and rub against your hand for as long as you want. His time waiting for a home hasn’t dampened his spirits at all – he’s affectionate, loving and enjoys playing with toys. Rumor has it he will also high-five people, though I haven’t gotten a chance to try this out with him myself.
