***SAFE 05/09/16*** RETURNED DUE TO “NO TIME”- ARCHIE NEEDS NEW FRIEND!!! This is what a volunteer wrote during Archie (aka Meatball’s) last stay at the ACC back in September 2013: A volunteer writes: “Meatball is a calm, big-headed hunk of catness who always lets you know where he stands. Most of the time I’ve greeted him, he’s right there at the front of his cage, a total Mr. Extrovert soliciting pettings from as many humans as he can. Other times he prefers to hang back and watch the action in the cat adoption room, taking a break and catching up on his power naps. Either way, he’s always a sweet, good boy, so well-mannered that he’d be great in any type of household. If you’re looking for a handsome mushball who will be there to give you affection but is also happy to score solo time, you must meat Meatball today!” Poor Archie! This super friendly and awesome boy was returned for the BS “no time” excuse. His former owner said that this loving and fab eight year old fella began to lose weight a couple of months ago. But instead of taking him for a vet check, he was returned to the kill shelter and now poor Archile’s life is in peril!!! Sad sigh!!! Archie is neutered and has an URI. He should probably get a vet check to see what was causing his weight loss. Can you be the kind purrson to offer this darling boy a new “leash” on life by offering to foster or adopt? Please reserve Archie online or you can get in touch with a New Hope rescue. Transportation is available. Email our help desk and we lead assist you–[email protected] Don’t forget fostering saves lives so let us know if you can offer temporary or purrmanent safe haven to awesome Archie. Make the call for this terrific tabby NOW!!!
