Hello, my name is Wingle. My animal id is #15211. I am a desexed male gray cat at the Manhattan Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 3 years old. – P
I came into the shelter as a stray on 02-Dec-2017.

Wingle is at risk for medical reasons, he has bladder stones and bloody urine, which cannot be adequately treated in the shelter. Due to his condition, we have not done a formal behavior assessment for Wingle, but he had given us no reason to have concerns about his behavior whilst in the shelter.

KNOWN HISTORY:: Wingle was brought in as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment.
ENRICHMENT NOTES:: Laying in middle of cage, eyes dilated but soft posture, looking around. Lay in place when door opened. Allowed all pets, showed no real interest.
Cage Condition:: No change
Reaction to assessor:: Wingle immediately comes soliciting at the front of the cage.
Reaction when softly spoken to:: Wingle remains soft in place.
Reaction to cage door opening:: Wingle remains standing at the front of the cage, relaxed body posture, soliciting attention.
Reaction to touch:: Wingle head bunts the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body.
Reaction to being picked up:: Allows the pickup and remains calm.
