SAFE 7/20/17 A volunteer writes: Uma’s coat reminds me of a gorgeous, authentic, antique Persian rug. It’s a velvety muted multi-colored palette against a soft background of silky gray. She’s a tortie, but a very unusual one. With stunning looks like this, you would think, she doesn’t have to nice, but she couldn’t be nicer, and I’m not exaggerating. She rubbed her head and cheeks against my hands as if I were made of catnip, and she only stopped long enough to give me a sweet little nose kiss. The purring? This was a lullaby that could put the crankiest baby to sleep (if it were a few decibels quieter). Uma Thurman’s got nothing on our Uma. She’s a queen and she’s here, ready to receive you.
UMA is a spayed 4 yr old kitty who was surrendered to the shelter with her housemate (Opal and Ludo) due to owner having personal problems. UMA would love to get out of the cage at the shelter and back into a loving home.
