PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, moderate stertor noted Lungs clear (moderate referred upper airway noise), eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: intact male; no discharge
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Rectal: normal externally
Assessment
1) Nasal mucopurulent discharge, stertor- top differential URI (moderate). Cannot r/o other causes such as allergic rhinitis vs neoplasia.
Prognosis: fair
Plan: Doxycycline 10 mg/kg PO SID for 10 days
LRS 100mls SQ once
SURGERY:
