Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Tamara was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. She was sweet upon intake, approaching the front of her carrier and allowing all handling. She also allowed all handling during her initial medical exam. Reaction to assessor: Tamara was sleeping upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Tamara rolls over on her back and stretches, but does not wake. Reaction to cage door opening: Tamara remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Tamara slowly wakes and remains in place for petting. Her rear slowly lifts up when pet on her lower back and she begins to purr. Reaction to being picked up: Tamara remains soft and nuzzles against the assessor. Behavior Determination: Beginner Tamara interacts with the observer, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
