This purrfect beginner pair came into the shelter without their mum and are incredibly kind, gentle and loving. They have been treated for a case of diarrhea —a condition that has improved. They desperately need their rescue angel tonight and would LOVE to reward their new purrson with a load of love and licks. Wouldn’t you want to be on the receiving end? 09/29/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – BEGINNER
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Indigo was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. She was sweet upon intake, approaching the front of her carrier and allowing all handling. She also allowed all handling during her initial medical exam. Reaction to assessor: Indigo was sleeping upon approach. Reaction when softly spoken to: Indigo places her paw on her head and continues to sleep. Reaction to cage door opening: Indigo remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Indigo slowly wakes and remains in place for petting. Her rear slowly lifts up when pet on her lower back and she begins to purr. Reaction to being picked up: Indigo remains soft and nuzzles against the assessor. Behavior Determination: Beginner Indigo interacts with the observer, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
