Stella is a 3 year old, DSH female who was spayed prior to coming into the shelter. She has no known health issues or injuries and has not seen a vet recently. She was given to the owner approximately 3 years ago and was surrendered due to health complications with the owner.

Stella is shy for a few minutes when first meeting new people but warms up quickly.

Stella has spent time around an 8 and 13 year old and was relaxed and playful around them.

Stella has not spent time around dogs before.
Behavior Notes
Stella will struggle when the owner tries to bathe or groom her. They have not tried to trim her nails before and she tolerates being picked up and held. She will struggle a little to be placed in the carrier.

Stella is described as being friendly, affectionate and playful. She likes to stay in her favorite spot most of the day and plays with string and wand toys. She was an indoor cat and sleeps under her homers bed. She eats both wet and dry food and was litter box trained to use an uncovered box with clumping or crystal litter. She likes to scratch on cardboard and fabric in the home.

Stella was relaxed and friendly during intake. She allowed for all handling by counselor.
