I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 11/04/2016 from NY 11434, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY. I came in with Group/Litter #K16-080417.

11/16/16 Recheck diarrhea, also nasal discharge noted on rounds. O: BARH. Active, eating well. mm=lt. pink, moist, CRT<2s. EENT: Clear nasal discharge and mild congestion. Sneezing. H/L: Lungs clear, no dyspnea. No murmurs. ABD: Palpation WNL. No diarrhea in cage or noted. A: Diarrhea appears resolved. URI. P: Move to iso. Rx Doxycycline 50 mg/ml. 0.9 ml PO q 24 hours x 10 days. Gave first dose. Excellent prognosis.

11/07/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – BEGINNER
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Shine was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. She was very friendly and alert upon intake, and allowed all handling throughout the intake process and during her initial medical exam. Reaction to assessor: Shine was lying down by the front and was calm, relaxed, and friendly. Reaction when softly spoken to: Shine meows and solicits attention by rubbing against the cage door. Reaction to cage door opening: Shine remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Shine head-butts, leans in for petting, and begins to purr. She is very affectionate and will roll over during petting. Reaction to pick up: Shine remains soft and continues to purr when held. Behavior Determination: Beginner Shine interacts with the observer, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
