08/01/17 19:34 Raja is an all black unaltered female cat. She was living in the hallway of her finder’s building for 3 weeks until her finder found in an elevator shaft by her finder in her building. Behavior During intake: Raja meowed a lot I opened the carrier from the top and she allowed being pet. I proceeded with scanning her and then collaring her. I tried to take a picture of her but she planted her body down then started running numerous times. I picked her up and placed her into a carrier and her body remained very loose as she continued to meow.

ACTIVITY LEVEL: Laid back VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Curious, Independent MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: 8/3/17- Observed Behavior – untouchable without net screams when touched EVALUATION: Cage Condition: No change Reaction to assessor: Raja remains neutral, lying down with head up on the cage bedding during the approach. Reaction to cage door opening: Raja remains in place, alert with eyes wide open, ears erect and forward. Reaction to touch: Raja began to stress meow while attempting to pet then growls. She briefly allowed the touch while ears draw back as she continues to growl in place then leans away from the assessor’s hand. BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Raja may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in an experienced, adult only home.
