ACTIVITY LEVEL: Steady VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Timid, Independent MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: 6/5/17- Observed Behavior – tense/nervous and unsocialized but allows handling EVALUATION: Cage Condition: No change Reaction to assessor: Pringle remains crouched position on his cage bedding during the approach. Reaction to cage door opening: Pringle remains alert with normal shape eyes, ears erect and forward. Reaction to touch: Pringle slowly retreats to the back, but allows the touch, while he remains immobile with no interest. BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Pringle tolerates attention and petting, but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
