04/30/2017 PET PROFILE MEMO
04/30/17 17:55 Basic Info: Nicola A1110578 is a small female calico DMH feline who is being surrendered along with her “brother” Keiko A1110579 due to the owner being hospitalized. Their other “siblings” Sandy A1110428 & Piski A1110429 were surrendered to us yesterday. They haven’t been seen by a vet recently and currently have no known health issues/injuries. Socialization: Nicola hasn’t been exposed to strangers. She hasn’t been around dogs but was gentle, playful, relaxed/affectionate with the adults and other cats in the home. Nicola hasn’t bitten/scratched any person or animal. Behavior: During car rides Nicola will meow or be relaxed. She isn’t bothered with being placed into a carrier or being held/pet. The following hasn’t been done to know her behaviors: being disturbed while sleeping/resting, having her nails trimmed, being brushed or bathed. There were multiple cats in the home and it wasn’t noticed if Nicola is one who scratches on the couch/walls in the home. The cats didn’t have a scratching post. For a New Family to Know: Nicola is described as friendly, playful (at times), affectionate & quiet with low-medium activity level. When the owner is home Nicola follows them around sometimes. She’s an indoor cat that sleeps around the home, eats dry & wet Meow Mix cat food 2x a day and uses an uncovered litter box with clumping litter within. Intake Behavior: Nicola had a soft body, eyes and allowed all handling. She allowed to be scanned (-), collared & have her pictures taken. Nicola seemed to enjoy being pet as she closed her eyes during but will flinch with sudden/fast movements. She didn’t seem to mind being picked up/held and was placed into a kennel with ease.
