Scanned negative History : Found under a car Subjective: Mews constantly when left alone in kennel. Leans into handler, allows all handling. Objective BAR, MMs pink and moist, BCS 4/9 EENT: OS moderate periocular swelling, chemosis, purulent discharge, third eyelid elevated, cannot see cornea. OD NSF. Clean ears, no nasal discharge noted Oral Exam: Clean deciduous teeth – PMs erupted PLN: No enlargements noted H/L: NSR, NMA, Lungs clear, eupnic ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated U/G: Male intact kitten MSI: Ambulatory x 4, severe amount of flea dirt, no masses noted, healthy hair coat CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities Rectal: Normal externally Assessment: OS severe conjunctivitis, possible corneal ulcer Plan: 1. Buprenorphine SR 0.04 ml SQ once today 2. Erythromycin OU BID x10 days 3. Monitor OS Prognosis: Good 1088
