06/20/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Our enrichment facilitator has interacted with Morgan and at the time he was purring at the front. Morgan reaches out for attention. He was calm and relaxed. Morgan allowed all handling. His tail up was up as he leaned in for attention. Reaction to assessor: Morgan does not come to front but looks at you calm and relaxed When spoken quietly: Morgan does not come to front but looks at you calm and relaxed Reaction to door cage opening: Morgan remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: Morgan allows petting and attention Try picking cat up: Morgan is tolerant of this type of handling. Behavior Determination: Average Morgan was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Morgan is displaying behavior appropriate for a beginner cat owner.
