06/18/16 09:39 Basic Information: Gracie is a domestic short hair cat who was surrendered after her previous care takers were unable ot find her a home. Socialization: Around strangers Gracie is friendly, outgoing and playd gently with adults. Gracie has not lived with any other cats and has spent time with small and large dogs, around them Gracie was relaxed and affectionate. Gracie has never bitten another person or animal. Behavior: Gracie has no behavior issues and is relaxed when riding in a car. Gracie enjoys being given a bath, being brushed, beingpicked up/held, being placed in a carrier and being disturbed while he is resting/sleeping. Gracie’s previous care taker did not attempt to trim her nails so it is unknown how she will react to those events. For a New Family to Know: Gracie is described as: friendly, affectionate, playful,confident, and talkative with a low activity level. When at home Gracie will follow around her caretaker and was kept indoors and outdoors. Gracie was fed both wet and dry food twice a day and is litter boxtrained using an uncovered litter box with clumping litter. Intake Behavior: Gracie could not be collared of have pictures taken on backdrop, will flee.

06/21/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
As per previous owner, Gracie is friendly, outgoing and plays gentle with adults. She’s never lived with other cats but has spent time around small and large dos. The owner said she was relaxed and affectionate towards them. She enjoys being brushed, given baths and being picked up and held. Gracie was described as being friendly, playful, content, and talkative with a low activity level. Reaction to assessor: Gracie becomes alert with eyes focused on the assessor. Reaction when softly spoken to: Gracie cries out then comes towards the front of the kennel. Reaction to cage door opening: Gracie takes a few steps back. Reaction to touch: Gracie hissed upon approach then leaned forward to sniff the assessor’s hand. She allows petting all over with a slow approach and slowly comes to the front of the kennel. Gracie seems to appreciate attention and leans in for rubs and more attention. Behavior Determination: Experience Gracie may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
