MILKY WAY – A1084444
Safe - 8-27-2016 Brooklyn Rescue: All Sentient Beings Please honor your pledges: http://animalloversnetwork.org/
*SAFE 08/27/16** The only somewhat “good” thing that can be said about the kill lists recently, is that a decent number of cats have been getting second chances, which is a departure from the ACC’s usual “one and done” style. The bad news is always, there is NO TELLING when that luck will run out, so every night MUST be treated as the LAST NIGHT ON EARTH for these cats. Meet a crew of kittens who have had an interesting relationship with the kill list, and make sure they ALL GO HOME tomorrow! Listed for the fourth time are MILKY WAY and MILKY; listed for the third time is FUDGE, and listed for the first time is CREAMY. The pattern the ACC has shown before, is that the night they finally get the entire group onto the euth list, is the final night for the group. THAT NIGHT IS TONIGHT, so if the ACC hold to form, all 4 of these EXPERIENCE-rated kittens will die tomorrow. PLEASE ADVOCATE WIDELY FOR ALL FOUR OF THESE KITTENS, TONIGHT!

08/10/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Milky Way watches the assessor with wide eyes from the back of the cage When spoken quietly: Milky Way continues to watch the assessor Reaction to door cage opening: Milky Way remains motionless Reaction to touch: Milky Way allows petting with a slow approach Try picking cat up: Milky Way is tolerant of this type of handling but tense. Behavior Determination: Experience Milky Way was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Remains motionless as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach using soft voices he relaxed a little. I was able to pet him and interact with him in a limited way. I was also able to pick him up and although he was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
