Yet another SPAYED “stray” in the ACC system, this terrific tuxie would love to be a stray no longer and be loved and wanted to be in a home!! Sadly, the ACC has other plans and instead for looking for a home for this lady, they gave her a cold and plan to do away with her tomorrow at noon because of the cold….PLEASE HELP DARBY FIND HER HERO (or HEROINE) TONIGHT!! Dab was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. Reaction to assessor: Dab was resting on her blanket at the back of the kennel. Reaction when softly spoken to: Dab stretches her body and slowly comes forward. Reaction to cage door opening: Dab is calm and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Dab sniffs the assessor’s hand and rubs up for attention. She allows petting all over and gives light head butts. Reaction to being picked up: Gary is tense and struggled when held. She slowly relaxes and leans in for rubs. Behavior Determination: Average Dab interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
