Monitor condition, appetite, urination (left sided pelvic fracture)
S/O: QAR, ~5% dehydration. Allows all handling. Excellent appetite
EENT: Eyes clear, no ocular or nasal discharge, moderate dental tartar
HL: Normal thoracic auscultation
ABD: Soft, non tender, medium sized soft bladder (unable to express with gentle pressure)
INTEG: Full hair coat, no apparent wounds or injuries
MS: Non-ambulatory in hind end, dragging limbs in splayed position, appears painful
UG: Male
A: Left sided pelvic fracture with significant displacement towards pelvic canal
P: Adding LRS 100ml SQ q24 x 3 days and onsior 0.5ml SQ q24 x 3 days. Injury will require surgical repair. Fair prognosis with appropriate treatment and care

Subjective: Cat is QARH/depressed, laying in box, soft cries
Observed Behavior – cat sedated with 0.15 mLs Telazol IM for radiographs. Was QAR/depressed, but seemed friendly and allowed all handling prior to sedation.
Evidence of Cruelty seen – no
Evidence of Trauma seen – yes

EENT: Eyes mild blepharospasm and chemosis OU, ears large amount dark brown waxy debris (mild pruritus), no nasal discharge noted
Oral Exam: Grade 1+/4 dental dz; missing 201, 301-303, 401, and 402
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupneic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: intact male, both testicles descended; urinary bladder large, but soft and easily expressed
MSI: Non-ambulatory (hind limbs); has w/d RHL, delayed w/d LHL, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, hair coat dirty but otherwise wnl, mild superficial abrasions medial aspect LHL
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Rectal: pelvic fx notable on rectal, but no perforation of colon (no blood on glove).
Assessment: Left-sided Pelvic Fracture, Otitis externa, AU
Prognosis: Fair-Good
Plan: Cleaned AU and applied 6 drops Tresaderm – cont BID x 7-10d. Gave 0.7 mLs Simbadol SQ – repeat q24h x 3d. Assess daily – monitor appetite and urination. Recommend rescue placement for fx repair asap.
