Socialization
Around strangers Kyrie is shy for a few days but is very curious of people and will watch you. Kyrie has lived with other cats which were her litter mates and got along very well with them. Kyrie plays gently with other cats and adults. Kyrie has not been socialized with dogs. Kyrie has been around children but will initially hiss at them and keeps her distance.
Behavior
Kyrie has only been given one bath when she was young and she was afraid of the water. Kyrie doesn’t allow to have her nails trimmed but enjoys being brushed. When owner picks Kyrie up and tries to hold her she will stay for a few moments and then jump out of their arms. Kyrie isn’t bothered when disturbed while sleeping but doesn’t like being placed in the carrier and will try to get away from it. In car rides Kyrie will meow but will calm down if the owner pets her.
For the new family to know
Kyrie was described as affectionate, confident, talkative and curious with a medium activity level. One of the owner’s favorite things about Kyrie is that she will stare at you for long periods of time. Kyrie enjoys playing with balls and strings. When home with Kyrie she likes to be in the same room as you and she if your laying down will come cuddle with you. Kyrie is litter box trained and uses an uncover litter box. The brand Kyrie is use to is fresh step and armor hammer clumping litter. Kyrie eats Friskies twice a day 1 can in the morning and dry food at night. Kyrie has a horizontal scratching post made of rough rope that she uses but also likes to scratch on a leather bed board. Kyrie usually sleeps in the bedroom on the bed. Previous Owner believes Kyrie would do well in an adult home.
