Basic Information
Dante is 7 year old neutered cat that as surrendered because the owner can no longer have the animal in his home. Dante has never had any health issues or injuries. The client initially found the cat as a stray.
Socialization
Dante is a very loving and affectionate cat. Dante is usually a bit shy when he is approached by stranger, however with a bit of time Dante will relax and allow rubbing. Dante has also been around young children. When Dante would be around children he would hiss at first out of curiosity. Dante has lived in a home with two other cats. Dante was usually relaxed and affectionate around the other cats in the home however; he would play rough with the female cat inside the home. The two male cats loved to chase each other throughout the house. Dante has no previous experience around dogs.
Behavior
Dante has no previous bite history with anyone or animal. The client has only given Dante a bath once and they were afraid of the water and attempted to flee. Dante likes to be held and rubbed. Dante isn’t bothered be being waken up suddenly. Dante also isn’t bothered by getting his nails trimmed.
For a new family to know
Dante is best described as friendly, playful and affectionate. Dante has a very high activity level in the home. Dante usually followed the previous owner around the home. Dante loves to chase and play with strings throughout the home. Dante loves to head butt you when he wants attention. Dante sleep in the bed with the previous owner. Dante eats wet food in the morning and dry food at nights. Dante is fully litter box trained in an uncovered litter box. Dante does like rope scratching post for climbing purposes. Dante would be best in a home with older children and adults.
