Arrived from same home as Felicia, 1102583, but not noted and they’re in separate cages. Pending medical’s okay, I will try to reunite them in a triple today. More outwardly nervous than Felicia, a little hesitant initially when I approached, but allowed all petting and eased. Easily picked up and held, moved to the front of Felicia’s kennel; they clearly are familiar with each other, he was calm but she hissed a little (she hissed at another cat, easygoing Rooster, who I brought to the front of her cage, too). Big fat cute cat, he and Felicia make quite the impressive pair: a LOT more to love!
Owner Profile::
Knight is a four year old black and white neutered domestic shorthair. He was surrendered due to owner having a new baby. Knightwas given to owner by a friend about two years ago. He was not taken to the vet by his previous owner.
Knight has lived with two adults and two other cats. He is described as relaxed and friendly towards strangers. He will engage in gentle play with the adults and cats in the home. Owner stated Knight was relaxed and playful towards the female cats in his previous home. He has never bitten another animal or person.
Knight is litterbox trained and was provided with an open litterbox and crystals litter. Knight had a cardboard scratching post with catnip. He was not bathed or brushed by owner. He did not have her nails trimmed and does not mind when he is placed in a carrier. Knight has been kept only indoor and eats Science Diet dry food.
Upon intake Knight was tense and retreated to the back of the carrier. He was skittish while on the counter and attempted to flee. Counselor was able to lift him and collar.
