ENRICHMENT NOTES:
01/28/18
Lying in center of kennel, ears forward and feet folded beneath body. He tenses slightly as the cage door opens and tolerates petting along his head and body while turning his head to smell my hand. Warms up with continued petting and leans in for cheek rubs. A bit unsure, warms up once approached. Needs some more time to adjust.
01/29/18
Lying in back of kennel, body and face soft. Rolls over onto side when spoken to. He comes forward as I open the kennel door and head-butts my hand in greeting. Allows petting along head and body while leaning in and raising his tail. Tail begins to wave back and forth with continued petting but he shows no further reaction. Doing much better today!
01/30/18
Lying on kennel floor with a soft body, head lowered onto kennel floor. He raises his head when spoken to and stretches, ears forward. Allows petting along his head and body while leaning in and rolling over onto his side. Continues to stretch. Sleepy – just woke him up from a nap. Ate all treats given. Doing well!
