Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Please note that Jack is being treated for an upper respiratory infection at the time of the behavior assessment. This condition may affect some of the behaviors shown during evaluation. Reaction to assessor: Jack does not come to front but looks at you calm and relaxed When spoken quietly: Jack comes to the front of cage and starts eating Reaction to door cage opening: Jack remains soft and relaxed Reaction to touch: Jack solicits petting and attention Try picking cat up: Jack is tolerant of this type of handling Behavior Determination: Beginner Jack was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying friendly behavior, comes to the front of the kennel, interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. Jack is displaying behavior appropriate for a beginner cat owner.
