Francis was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home.
Reaction to assessor: Francis meows softly then slowly comes forward.
Reaction when softly spoken to: Francis continues meowing at the front with her tail lowered.
Reaction to cage door opening: Francis is calm and relaxed.
Reaction to touch: Francis allows petting all over and head butts the assessor’s hand. She is very affectionate and appreciates attention.
Reaction to being picked up: Francis is calm relaxed, and has a soft body when held.
Behavior Determination: Average
Francis interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.

a: severe dermatitis, ear mites noted on initial — rule out severe flea allergy dermatitis, likely secondary bacterial infection vs other; heart murmur
p: rec convenia 0.4ml sq (given), consider addition dose of convenia and revolution in 2 weeks. continue to monitor while at bacc. rec full work up with placement for heart murmur and dermatitis. good prognosis
