SAFE 10/11/17 Dobby just came to us as a stray and seems to need a bit of TLC. He was a little dehydrated upon intake and seems to be improving. Tested negative for Felv/FIV.

Evidence of Trauma seen -no
Objective
BCS 4/9
EENT: OU- mild mucoid discharge and conjunctival hyperemia, AU-mild waxy brown debris, no nasal discharge seen but mild nasal congestion
Oral Exam: deciduous teeth, mm’s very pale pink
PLN: No enlargements noted
H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupneic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: MI
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, flea dirt see, no masses noted, healthy hair coat, decreased skin turgor
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
Assessment
nasal congestion- R/O URI vs other
conjunctivitis OU
pale mm’s- R/O flea anemia vs other
fleas- treated on 10/9/17
Prognosis:fair
Plan:
continue erythromycin
start clavamox 6.4 mg PO BID x 10 days
give LRS 10 mls SQ
