08/08/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Cloppy was sleep at the back of the cage with his sibling When spoken quietly: Cloppy does not come to front but looks at you calm and relaxed Reaction to door cage opening: Cloppy remains motionless Reaction to touch: Cloppy retreats but allows petting and attention Try picking cat up: Cloppy is tolerant of this type of handling. Behavior Determination: Experience Cloppy was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying shy behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and when the kennel was open. Retreats as I started to get closer. I was able to pet him and interact with him. I was also able to pick him up and although he was tense no fractious behavior was display. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
