Gone - 9-24-2016 Manhattan
***GONE 09/24/16***PRETTY CATALINA is an unusual looking dilute CALICO with the cutest li’l face ever! She is 3 years old and was abandoned by the finder’s friend in The Bronx. The finder was unsuccessful at finding a home for her, so now she’s at the shelter, hoping not to get killed tomorrow! CATALINA would make a great BEGINNER pet! She is friendly and played well with a 3 year old, until the 3 year old pulled hard on CATALINA’s tail. CATALINA gave her a hiss and scratch to say, “No more of that!” CATALINA IS A VERY AFFECTIONATE and loves being pet! CATALINA would make a wonderful BFF (best furry friend). Please save this gorgeous sweetheart today!!!

09/10/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
09/10/16 15:38 Catalina A1089302 is a spayed female diluted calico DSH feline who was left at the finder’s home by a friend three weeks ago in the Bronx. The finder is no longer able to keep her and couldn’t find anyone to take her in. They stated Catalina got along well with the 3yr old child until they pulled her tail “very hard” which caused Catalina to hiss and scratch the child (it did not break skin or bleed) a couple of weeks ago. Catalina scratched on items in the home (didn’t have a scratching post), ate dry Meow Mix throughout the day and used an uncovered litter box with clumping litter within. During intake Catalina allowed all handling. She allowed to be collared, taken pictures of and didn’t seem to mind being picked up/held. Catalina then walked into a carrier on her own to be transported to MACC.
