*** SAFE 03/21/16 *** REGAL! That’s the word which comes to mind when looking at CALLEE’s intake photograph, taken as he and his 12 housemates were brought to the shelter in the wake of their owners’ death. CALLEE is FELV POSITIVE, but you know what else he is? HANDSOME, for starters, not to mention YOUNG, at 2 years of age. Most importantly, CALLEE has a BEGINNER rating which is an impressive feat many cats cannot pull off! CALLEE is also neutered, so this boy is ready to go home with a FOSTER/ADOPTER tomorrow. Make sure that happens by advocating fiercely for him, tonight!

03/15/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – BEGINNER
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Callee was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. The finder reports he was living in a home with 12 other cats. All the cats appeared to do well together. He was very shy upon intake, but allowed handling and petting. He also allowed handling during his initial medical exam although he was tense and nervous. Reaction to assessor: Callee was calm, relaxed, and friendly by the front. Reaction when softly spoken to: Callee meows and head-butts the cage door. Reaction to cage door opening: Callee remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Callee head-butts, leans into petting, and begins to purr. He meows and continues to rub against the assessor when petting stops. Reaction to being picked up: Callee remains calm and purrs when held.
