BUBBLY – A1082625
Gone - 7-29-2016 Manhattan
**GONE 07/29/16** Handsome tabbies, BUBBLY and DOUBLE, are two of four cats that were taken to the ACC as strays on July 25th. Keep in mind, that was right after the ACC had participated in the “Clear the Shelters” event, so a person could reasonably have expected the shelter to have enough room to hold these guys longer than that 72-hour stray hold, right? Given that they had adopted out a mess of cats, and must have had the cage space to handle giving BUBBLY and DOUBLE a little more time? WRONG! The ACC set a countdown clock for that 72 hours and once it counted all the way down, BOOM! Both cats were slapped right onto the euth list! Now these EXPNOCHILD-rated boys are the subject of yet another countdown clock, and when that ticks down to NOON tomorrow, they will both be KILLED! What’s the rush? Please make sure BUBBLY and DOUBLE are not forced to endure an unsedated death at the hands of the ACC tomorrow, by advocating strongly on their behalf tonight.

07/28/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Bubbly looks neutral, lying down on his cage bedding when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Bubbly remains in place, alert with eyes wide open. Reaction to touch: Bubbly leans away from the assessor’s hand, lip licks, but once touched he slowly retreats further to the back. Placement determination: Experience / no child Bubbly tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
