***SAFE 09/10/16***SWEET AUBREY is a GORGEOUS black female cat with a white patch on her chest. She is around 2 years old. She was abandoned in a cat carrier in front of the finder’s house in the Bronx. The finder wasn’t able to keep her and so AUBREY is on tomorrow’s list to be killed, if she’s not rescued. AUBREY is open to petting, but is very afraid at the shelter. AUBREY would do wonderfully at an experienced pet home with no children. She is a sweet young scared kitty, who would make a wonderful frIend! Please don’t let this amazing kitty die tomorrow!! Please scoop up AUDREY TODAY!!!

08/28/16 14:56 Aubrey A1087619 is a young black with a white patch on her chest DSH feline who was found in a carrier in front of the finder’s home a little while ago in the Bronx. The finder isn’t able/willing to take in Aubrey and didn’t interact with her. During intake Aubrey tensed up, hissed, growled and swatted. She was transferred into a cat den with a free man net. Due to her behavior I was unable to collar or take her picture on the backdrop but I was able to scan (-) Aubrey.

08/31/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Aubrey looks tense, hiding in the cat den when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Aubrey remains stiff in place, alert with eyes dilated. Reaction to touch: Aubrey accepts a brief touch, but shows no interest and attempts to escape the cage. Placement determination: Experience / no child Aubrey tolerates attention and petting but may be fearful or stressed in the shelter, and may be intimidated by small children. Due to the behaviors seen in the care center, we feel that this cat will do best in a calm, quiet home with experienced cat parents and without children.
