*** SAFE 06/14/17 *** 6 Month In Home Quarantine!! Lovely Beginner Tuxedo boy Ziggs is the cutest lovebug @MACC. Ziggs came to us as a stray and has bites of unknown origin. He will need to be quarantined at a vet clinic or can be quarantined in a home with permission from DOH in the 5 boroughs. If leaving the 5 boroughs, quarantine MUST be approved by the receiving city or township DOH. Please note, the 5 boroughs are easier for in home quarantine.

ACTIVITY LEVEL: Mellow VOCAL: Somewhat chatty CHARACTER TYPE: Calm, Sweet MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: 5/31/17- Observed Behavior – allow full exam ENRICHMENT NOTES: 6/1/17- Sitting up in middle of cage, wide-eyed and alert, but soft posture. Sat in place when door opened. Leaned into pets, purred, then started cheek-rubbing furniture and rolling over. EVALUATION: Cage Condition: Cage is neat Reaction to assessor: Ziggs immediately comes soliciting at the front of the cage. Reaction to door opening: Ziggs remains standing at the front of the cage, relaxed body posture, soliciting attention. Reaction to touch: Ziggz head-butts the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: He allows the pickup and remains calm. BEHAVIOR SUMMARY: Beginner Ziggs interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
