Zander meows loudly and comes forward to greet the assessor.
Reaction when softly spoken to:
Zander continues to vocalize and rubs sniffs the assessor through the cage door.
Reaction to cage door opening:
Zander remains calm.
Reaction to touch:
Zander leans forward to sniff the assessor’s hand, then tilts his head and accepts gentle petting along his body. He arches his back, gives head butts and leans out the cage to scan his surroundings.
Reaction to being picked up:
Zander is calm, relaxed and allows all handling.
H – Healthy
Zander interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
