05/25/16 21:40
Zada is an 8 year old black and white domestic short haired cat. She allowed all handling at intake. She allowed me to collar her and take an updated photo with no issue.
Basic history:
Zada is an 8 year old black and white domestic short haired cat. Her owner brought her back to MACC because he is moving into a building that does not allow pets. She has not been to see a vet in a long time.
Socialization:
Zada is a very friendly cat. She is good with adults and strangers but she has never been around children of any age. She is gentle with humans and other cats but she has never been around dogs.
Behavior history:
Zada has never bitten or scratched another cat or human. She does scratch on furniture sometimes. Zada meows a lot in the car. She does struggle to get out of the bath tub but she allows it after a few minutes. She doesn’t really like being brushed or held. She doesn’t seem to mind going into the carrier.
For a new family to know:
Zada is described as very friendly and mellow. Her activity level is medium. She likes to play but she also loves to nap. She loves to play with the wand toys and catnip. When her owner is home she likes to be in the same room if not right next to them. She has been kept indoors only. She sleeps in any high place that she can find. She is fed dry food only. Zada has used both covered and uncovered litter boxes. She used to have a scratching post but she seems to prefer to scratch on the couch.
