YOSEMITE – A1091157
Gone - 9-29-2016 Manhattan
***GONE 09/29/16*** THIS HOARDING SITUATION IS OUTTA CONTROL! HOW MANY MORE OF THESE CATS HAVE TO DIE BECAUSE OF INCOMPETENT OWNER’S!! READY FOR THIS RIDE?? 6 cats…came in together! How many will actually leave? That folks, is up to YOU! YOSEMITE, LARRY, YOLANDA, YODEL, YOGI AND ZULA all need the aid of a New Hope rescue. But FIRST…they need to find a FOSTER OR ADOPTER for these guys! All of them are 4 years of age, with the exception of YOLANDA WHO IS 3 AND ZULA WHO IS 7. They all should stay together but if you really can only save one or two…that would be a great help! But look at it from their vantage point…they are all used to being together. Probably crammed together. And now they are separated and scared. Wouldn’t you want something or SOMEONE to be there to comfort you at your darkest hour? Then be that SOMEONE FOR THEM!!! CONTACT THE HELP DESK AT [email protected] and we will aid you in contacting NEW HOPE rescues to save this bunch!

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Yosemite looked tense, lying down at the back when approached by the assessor. Reaction to door opening: Yosemite remained stiff in place, alert with ears flat back. Reaction to touch: Yosemite did not allow the stroke, but when touched he began to hiss at the assessor’s hand. Placement determination: NH ONLY Yosemite is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room. He is extremely fearful in the shelter environment and does not currently tolerate petting. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
