Yoda was brought in as a stray, so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies in a home environment.
MEDICAL BEHAVIOR:
4/23/18 Subjective / Observed Behavior – Attempts to escape. Very tense during exam, but allows all handling.
ENRICHMENT NOTES:
4/23/18
Curled up at back of cubby, tense, eyes dilated. Stayed crouched at back when door opened. Sniffed hand, allowed, then leaned into pets. Softened noticeably when room emptied out and noise level decreased, eyes became much less dilated.
4/24/18
Couched at back of litter box, pressed into corner, tense, eyes dilated. Stayed hunched in place when door opened. Tolerated pets, lowered head, shifted in place. Seems really uncomfortable with surroundings.
4/25/18
Crouched at back of cubby, tense, eyes dilated. Shifted back when door opened, pressed against wall. Tolerated pets with assess-a-hand, leaned very slightly into pets from real hand. Slow blinked after door closed.

Yoda becomes alert with eyes wide open, pupils constricted, looking around.

Yoda accepts the touch, but shows no interest towards the interaction.
