01/25/17 12:15 Basic Information X-ray is a 5 year old male domestic short hair. He is being surrendered because he attacked his owner twice. Owner adopted him from a friend 4 years ago. Owner states he has no medical issues but has never taken him to a vet. Socialization X-ray is shy for days around strangers. He has never lived or spent time with kids. He plays in a gentle manner with adults. He has never lived or spent time with other cats, dogs, or any other kind of animal. He has never bitten or scratched an animal. He scratched his owner twice, both breaking skin. The first time the owner was placing a lamp of the ground and X-ray started running in circles then attacked the owner on her leg breaking skin. The second time owner was backing up and stepped on him. At this point X-ray jumped towards his owner face and attacked her on her face, hands, and leg all breaking skin. Behavior Owner stated X-ray has no behavior issues and has never travelled with him in a car. Owner has never bathed, trimmed his nails, or brushed his coat. He is not bothered by being picked up or if disturbed while sleeping. He struggles when being placed in a carrier. He will try to flee. For a New Family to Know X-ray is described as playful and assertive with a medium activity level. He will follow his owner around sometimes and stay in his favorite spot other times. He likes to play with mouse toys and catnip toys. He was kept indoors only and slept on owner bed. He was fed 2 cans of 9 lives wet food twice a day and owner left Friskies dry food out all day. He uses an uncovered cat litter box with clumping style cat litter. He scratched on furniture made out of fabric. Behavior during Intake X-ray tolerated all handling. No signs of aggression were displayed.
