**SAFE 07/01/16** A volunteer writes: Wordsworth was a great poet who expressed deep thoughts, and Wordsworth the cat has a deep capacity for love. This big-headed creamsicle cutie sat confidently at the front of his cat condo while I and another volunteer chatted and caught up. He wasn’t needy, feisty, or demanding–he simply hung out happily with us, enjoying being part of the conversation and showing off what a gentle boy he is. Clearly a house cat who lost his way, Wordsworth’s finder said he was friendly and had no problem being picked up, put in a box, and brought to the Care Center–where he did so well on his behavior exam, he was deemed a good fit for almost any household. This sweet guy may not write poems, but he will make your heart sing with joy…..MELLOW MAN LOOKING FOR THAT “PURRMANENT” HOME TONIGHT!! HELP HIM FIND IT!! 06/17/2016 PET PROFILE MEMO
06/17/16 17:39 Wordsworth is an adult male DSH cat. His finders were feeding him for 2 weeks. They report that he approaches strangers, solicits attention, and allows handling. They feel he should be in a home. Wordsworth allowed them to pick him up, place him in a box, and bring him to ACC. Wordsworth lied down at the bottom of the box. He looked around a little with wide eyes. He was tolerant while I picked him up, pet him, scanned him (-), collared him, positioned him for pictures, and put him in a carrier. He resumed lying down on the backdrop and looked around. He didn’t resist, retreat, or vocalize.
