BASIC INFORMATION:
Wishful is a white and black cat that is 1 years old, possibly altered female. Wishful was bred at home with other cats. The owner is surrendering Wishful and 2 other siblings due to having to many pets and moving. Wishful has no known illness.
SOCIALIZATION
Wishful has only lived with 2 adults. Wishful behavior is unknown around strangers or children. Wishful has never lived with dogs. But the cat has lived with 15 other cats in a home. Wishful was more retrieved and hid under the furniture.
BEHAVIOR
Wishful has never had a bite history. Wishful is fearful and hides. The owner has never bathed, trimmed or brushed Wishful. Wishful uses a scratching post occasionally. However Wishful sometimes scratch the furniture.

Wishful is described as fearful & shy. Wishful enjoys sun bathing and eating. When the owner comes around Wishful follows them around. Wishful enjoys ball and stuffed toys. Wishful sometimes play with the cats in the home and chase each other but mostly it retrieved.

Observed Behavior – nervous and shaking but friendly and approaches the front of the cage and head butts.
EVALUATION:

Reaction to assessor: Wishful was resting upon approach and curls up.
Reaction when softly spoken to: Wishful looks at the assessor and rolls over to display his belly. He comes to the front afterwards and rubs on the cage door.
Reaction to cage door opening: Wishful remains soft and relaxed.
Reaction to touch: Wishful head-butts and nudges the assessor with his head. He leans in for cheek rubs, starts to knead, and begins to purr. He is very sweet throughout the interaction.
Reaction to being picked up: Wishful remains calm and continues to purr when held.
