I am a neutered male gray and white domestic mh mix. The shelter thinks I am about 12 YEARS old.
I came in the shelter as a OWNER SUR on 11/27/2016 from NY 11206, owner surrender reason stated was MOVE2PRIVA.

11/27/16 18:55 Basic Information: Whiskey is a domestic medium hair cat who was surrendered due to his previous owner having to move to a place where cats are not allowed. Socialization: Around strangers Whiskey is friendly, outgoing and plays gently with adults and children. Whiskey has spent time with children ages three years and was relaxed and playful around them. Whiskey has spent time with other cats and is relaxed and playful around them. Whiskey has never been around dogs so it is unknown how he will react to being around them. Behavior: Whiskey is relaxed while riding in a car. Whiskey enjoys being given a bath, being brushed, picked up/held, placed in a carrier and doesn’t mind being disturbed while he is resting/sleeping. Whiskey’s previous owner did not attempt to trim his nails so it is unknown how he will react to that event. For a New Family to Know: Whiskey is described as: friendly, affectionate, playful, confident, and talkative with a medium activity level. When at home Whiskey will follow around his owner and likes to play with balls. Whiskey was kept indoors only and was fed wet food. Whiskey is litter box trained and used an uncovered litter box with clumping litter. Intake behavior: Whiskey allowed staff to collar, scan for a microchip and take pictures with no signs of aggression. Whiskey became nervous when staff attempted to pick him up.

Also, described as: friendly, affectionate, playful, confident, and talkative with a medium activity level. Reaction to assessor: Whiskey immediately comes soliciting at the front of the cage. Reaction to door opening: Whiskey remains standing at the front of the cage, relaxed body posture, soliciting attention. Reaction to touch: Whiskey head-butts the assessor’s hand and appreciates petting on the head and body. Reaction to Being Picked up: Allows the pickup and remains calm. Placement determination: Beginner Whiskey interacts with the Assessor, solicits attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat can go to a beginner home.
