Lying in back of kennel, ears forward and tail curled around feet. Raises head and makes eye contact when spoken to. Allows petting along head and body while leaning in gently. Turns head to head-butt my hand and rolls over onto his side. Sweet boy, doing better!
06/07/18
Lying in back of kennel, body neutral and ears tilted. Avoids eye contact when spoken to. Tolerates petting along head and body while leaning in gently and continues to warm up with further interaction. He raises his rear high into the air and rolls over onto his side. Scoots forward, tail tucked between legs as he rubs his cheeks against my hand and floor. Sweet and timid, appreciates attention once approached.

Lying in cubby, ears forward and body relaxed. Eyes are closed – appears to be asleep. He remains calm when woken up and stretches, then leans into cheek and chin rubs. Rolls over when pet along the head and body and closes eyes again. Sweet and sleepy, allowed all petting. Did well today!
06/12/18
Sitting upright in cubby, looking out with soft eyes. Doesn’t like smell of gloves, starts to salivate and lip smack. Lies down and accepts petting, leaning in for cheek and chin rubs.
06/13/18
Relaxed body, lying down in the back of the cubby. He comes forward to greet as soon as I approach the kennel. Tail erect, quivers when I call his name. He rubs his cheeks against the kennel furnishings. Sniffs hand, gives head butts and enjoys being pet all over. Very food motivated- devoured the tuna in seconds. Doing great!
