Lying on top of kuranda bed with a low, tense body. He tolerates petting along his head and shoulders briefly before abruptly raising his head and vocalizing loudly. Uncomfortable with touch at this time. Needs more time to adjust.

Lying on top of kuranda bed, body tense. Body low and tense. Tail is wrapped tightly around body. Flattens ears and turns slowly to make eye contact when spoken to. I leave him some treats but he’s uninterested at the moment. Uncomfortable, needs more time to adjust.

H/L: NSR, NMA, CRT < 2, Lungs clear, eupnic
ABD: Non painful, no masses palpated
U/G: neutered male
MSI: Ambulatory x 4, skin free of parasites, no masses noted, healthy hair coat
CNS: Mentation appropriate – no signs of neurologic abnormalities
