TRUNKS – A1082474
Gone - 7-29-2016 Brooklyn
**GONE 07/29/16**TERRIFIC TRUNKS IS PURRFECTLY HEALTHY & NEEDS YOU! Sad Sigh! Doesn’t poor three year old Trunks look super confused and who can blame him? This shy but gentle boy was dumped at the kill happy shelter with his look-alike feline family that include kittens, GOKU – A1082476, GOHANNA – A1082477 PICCALO – A1082478 and the kittens’ “mum,” VEGETA – A1082475 (all still available). There is not an aggressive bone in Trunks’ body. He is purrfectly healthy and just needs a little time to warm up to people. So he should go to a home with an experienced cat purrson who will give him the time he needs to trust people. But he’s a good boy and deserves a new “leash” on life and the chance for a happy new life. Please make that possible by reserving him online or contacting a New Hope rescue who can help arrange transportation of this boy to you. Email our help desk and we will assist you–[email protected] Don’t forget fostering saves lives so please let us know if you can offer temporary or purrmanent safe haven to Trunks (and one or more members of his purrfect pals). Trunks only has tonight. We are his only hope. Don’t let him down!!!!

07/27/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Reaction to assessor: Trunks was hiding when I approached the cage When spoken quietly: Trunks continues to hide Reaction to door cage opening: Trunks retreats Reaction to touch: Trunks allows limited petting before attempting to flee Try picking cat up: Did not attempt Behavior Determination: Experience No Child Trunks was brought to the care center as a stray so we don’t have any behavioral history or tendencies previous to what we are seeing during the evaluation. At the time of the assessment he was displaying fearful behavior; does not seek attention from the assessor and becomes alert when the kennel was open. Trunks tries to flee as I started to get closer but after a steady slow approach I was able to pet him and interact with him in a limited way. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents with no children.
