06/17/17 10:01 Finder was able to approach animal, pick animal up and place into a box to bring to ACC. Finder stated that it appears that the animal is litter box trained. Animal comes from a home that had another cat and finder stated that he did not notice any behavior issues between both cats. Behavior during intake: Triceratops was nervous and trying to flee during intake. Counselor was able to scan for a mc, collar but had a hard time taking a picture as animal kept trying to run away.

Client stated that Triceratops appears litter box trained and socialized well with another cat. Upon intake, Triceratops was nervous and trying to flee. MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: friendly EVALUATION: Cage Condition: Cage is neat Reaction to assessor: Triceratops is lying mid-cage, body neutral. Reaction when softly spoken to: Triceratops looks at the assessor. Reaction to cage door opening: Triceratops stands and stretches. Reaction to touch: Triceratops head-butts the assessor and appreciates petting all over body. Reaction to being picked up: Triceratops is tolerant of this type of handling. ACTIVITY LEVEL: Mellow VOCAL: Quiet CHARACTER TYPE: Social, Calm Behavior observations _x_ Average Triceratops interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
