They are two terrific tabbies who are already NEUTERED!….They both have Experience ratings because they are scared and confused having lost the only home they have known….They will warm up in no time in a new and loving home, but they just need that chance!! NOON comes quickly and the ACC kills nice cats like TRICK & TREAT….They are publicly adoptable so APPLY NOW to FOSTER or ADOPT!!

10/10/16 15:07 Basic information Treat is a 3 year old gray tabby DSH with no known medical conditions. Owner has had Treat for 2 years and is surrendering because they are moving and cannot take him with them. Socialization Treat has lived with a children ages ranging from 8 to 12 and was relaxed and affectionate with them. Treat played gently with children and adults. Around strangers is friendly and outgoing. Treat has lived with cats and was affectionate and respectful towards them. Treat has not lived or interacted with dogs. Behavior Treat meowed during her car ride. Previous owner did not attempt to give Treat a bathe or trim his nails. Treat enjoys getting brushed and isn’t bothered when being picked up and held. Treat was afraid of the carrier and tried to run from it. For the new family to know Treat was described as friendly with a medium activity level. Treat likes to play with mouse toys. When home with Treat he will follow you around seeking attention. Treat eats wet and dry food twice a day of any brand. Treat is litter box trained and uses a covered litter box with clumping litter. Treat doesn’t have a scratching post but likes to scratch on the leather couch. Behavior during intake. Treat was talkative and relaxed during intake. Treat allowed to be scanned with a loose wiggly body.

As per previous owner, Treat has lived with children from ages ranging from 8- 12 years old and was relaxed and affectionate with them. His is friendly and outgoing with strangers and has never lived with dogs. He lived with cats and was respectful and affectionate towards them. His owner describes him as friendly with a medium activity level. Treat doesn’t have a scratching post but likes to scratch on the leather couch. Reaction to assessor: Treat was lying down on his blanket with his paws folded under his body. Reaction when softly spoken to: Treat’s eyes widen and he becomes alert and seems uneasy. Reaction to cage door opening: Treat remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Treat sniffs the assessor’s hand, stays curled up and doesn’t mind being pet with a slow approach. His body feels tense but he appreciates attention and will tilt his head allowing rubs. He feels confident at the back and doesn’t come forward. Reaction to being picked up: Treat is tense when picked up, gets antsy then leaps away. Behavior Determination: Experience Treat may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
