Upon intake, the cat was timid and nervous with their tail tucked. The cat allowed to be collared, scanned, and taken out of carrier. The cat tried to jump off the intake table.

Tokyo is lying in her litterbox with a low, tense body.
Reaction when softly spoken to:
Tokyo makes eye contact and vocalizes when spoken to softly.
Reaction to cage door opening:
Tokyo shifts her weight and remains in her box as the cage door opens.
Reaction to touch:
Tokyo allows petting along her head and body while continuing to vocalize and turning her head to watch the assessor’s hand. She begins to raise her rear with continued petting and turns her head to nudge the assessor’s hand softly. She remains in her litterbox where she feels the most comfortable.
