***SAFE 05/05/16*** CALLING ALL ANGELS TO SAVE THESE TWO FRIENDS!!! TOBA & TOBO have both entered the ACC system through no fault of their own. TOBA needs to have an emergency spay due to an open pyometra which can be very life threatening if not treated asap. TOBIN is a young male who is stressed out beyond belief and needs a kind and gentle soul to give him time to decompress. Both of these cats need you desperately tonight. Please consider fostering or adopting. You will literally be saving their lives from a lethal injection that awaits for them tomorrow.

Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Tobo was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to his behavior in his previous home. Reaction to assessor: Tobo was pressed against the back wall with his tail curled up at his side. Reaction when softly spoken to: Tobo lies motionless with wide eyes focused on the assessor. Reaction to cage door opening: Tobo remains motionless. Reaction to touch: Tobo tolerates petting briefly then hisses and attempts to flee. His ears bend flat and his body is tense. Behavior Determination: New Hope Only Tobo is displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. He is extremely fearful in the shelter environment and currently tolerate petting briefly before attempting to flee. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
