***SAFE 10/24/16*** PERFECTLY HEALTHY TINTIN MAY BE A LOST PET BUT SHE ONLY HAS TIL NOON!! TINTIN came into the shelter as a stray. She is already spayed so that tell us that somewhere along the line she had a home. TINTIN is a pretty girl, despite the awful photo. She is only about 3 yrs old and allowed petting and handling and got a good EXPERIENCE rating. Don’t let the ACC kill this HEALTHY ADOPTABLE CAT tomorrow at noon. Please offer to foster or adopt this friendly girl – she will be just fine once safe again in a home.

10/13/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Tintin was brought in as a stray, so we cannot speak to her behavior in her previous home. Reaction to assessor: Tintin was lying down, relaxed on her blanket near the front of the kennel. Reaction when softly spoken to: Tintin lifts her head up, makes eye contact at the assessor and remains still with her tail at her side. Reaction to cage door opening: Tintin lies motionless. Reaction to touch: Tintin inched forward to sniff the assessor’s hand then allowed petting with a slow, gentle approach. She seems unsure and will watch when the assessor pets her along her body. Her body seems a bit tense but she slowly warms up and leans her head against the assessor’s hand allowing cheek and neck rubs. Reaction to being picked up: Tintin backs away slowly and becomes tense when picked up. She gets uncomfortable and leaps away back into the kennel. Behavior Determination: Experience Tintin may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.
