7/30/16 19:02 Basic Information Timmy is an approximately 13 domestic short hair mix. He is being surrendered because the owner had been evicted from his home. He found Timmy as a stray kitten 12 years ago. Socialization Around strangers, Timmy is friendly and outgoing. He has lived mostly adults in the home; he plays gently with adults and children he does not know. Timmy has never bitten or scratched any one. Behavior Stanley is very vocal and will meow and cry when he get hungry or want attention. He has never had any litter box problems and uses the litter box daily. Timmy allows the owner to give him a bath, he has never had his nails trimmed, enjoys brushing, does not mind being held put in a carrier or disturbed while sleeping or resting. For a new family to know The owner describes Timmy as friendly and affectionate. He has a Medium activity level. Timmy loves to eat and sleep most of the day. Around the house, he follows everyone around and prefers to be in the same room as the rest of the family. He has never played with any cat toys but likes to play with string. He sleeps mostly indoors anywhere in the house. Timmy was being fed various name brand dry cat food 2 times a day. Timmy uses an open litter box with clumping cat litter everyday and rarely has accidents. Behavior during the intake During intake, Timmy was very friendly and allowed all handling. He meow in the carrier and rubbed his hand on staff member’s hand. He allowed to be scanned (-) and collared. He allowed to be transferred into a kennel.

Timmy’s previous owner reports he is friendly and outgoing around strangers. He has lived in a primarily adult home, but he plays gently with adults and children he doesn’t know. He is very vocal and will meow when he wants attention or is hungry. He was described as a friendly and affectionate cat, with a medium activity level. He follows everyone around the home and prefers to be in the same room as the rest of the family. Reaction to assessor: Timmy was resting inside a cardboard box, facing the back wall. Reaction when softly spoken to: Timmy yawns, but does not turn around to face the assessor. Reaction to cage door opening: Timmy remains soft and relaxed. Reaction to touch: Timmy accepts petting and slowly comes out of his box and lies on his bedding. He leans in for petting, begins to purr, and starts to knead. Reaction to being picked up: Timmy remains calm and allows handling. Behavior Determination: Average Timmy interacts with the observer, appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. No known history of behavioral problems. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for new or experienced cat parents.
