TIMMY – A1068087
Safe - 3-26-2016 Brooklyn Rescue: Feline Rescue of SI Please honor your pledges: http://felinerescueofstatenisland.org/donation/
***SAFE 03/26/16*** TIMMY needs a home but it’s harder for him since he’s been branded with a RESCUE ONLY rating! The 2 year old has some old wounds on his leg, that are healing but do need re-checking by a competent vet! So his rating may help as he does need a New Hope Rescue to pull him but you need to contact one and offer to FOSTER or ADOPT or it may not happen! The behavior rating for TIMMY need only be taken with a grain of salt! He’s hissing and not happy but he does have an injury he’s healing from so let’s give this guy a break! Contact a NEW HOPE rescue and save his life!

03/23/2016 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Our enrichment facilitator has interacted with Timmy and at the time he inches away as you approach. Timmy had a tense body. When approached he rises up and starts to hiss. Reaction to assessor: Timmy does not come to front but remains neutral When spoken quietly: Timmy does not come to front but remains neutral Reaction to door cage opening: Timmy becomes stiff and alert Reaction to touch: Timmy hisses and attempts to strike. Timmy does not allows petting at all Try picking cat up: Did not attempt Behavior Determination: New Hope Timmy seems to not be thriving in this environment and at the time of the assessment. Timmy was displaying behaviors that preclude placement in the adoptions room and may require further investigation before placement in a home. He is extremely fearful and currently does not tolerate petting or handling. The behavior department feels that placement with a New Hope Partner is the best option at this time.
