Safe - 3-29-2016 Manhattan Rescue: Anjellicle Cats Rescue Please honor your pledges: http://bit.ly/TigerTA1067634
**SAFE 03/29/16** Poor TIGER T! He was a gift to his owners when he was a kitten. Now 3 years later, he and his girlfriend Kit, are surrendered at the shelter because they have too many pets. This poor guy is trying to figure out what he did wrong to deserve such a sad fate. Well he did nothing wrong, except having owners who didn’t think enough of him to give him the life he deserves!! TIGER T is a gorgeous brown and white male. He’s described as playful, affectionate, confident and quiet. What more could you want in a pet? He has a cold but with treatment he should be good as new!! This friendly guy played well with a 7 and 14 year old in his previous home, loves to be held and even climbed onto a staffer’s shoulder at the shelter. Don’t let this sweetheart of a cat be put to death tomorrow! Foster or adopt TIGER T today!! You will be so glad you did!!

Tiger T nor Kit have been seen by a veterinarian in a couple of years and currently have no known health issues/injuries. Socialization: Around strangers Tiger T is friendly/outgoing. He lived with a 7 & 14yr old and was gentle, exuberant, relaxed/affectionate with them, Kit, a medium sized mixed breed dog (played together all the time) & another cat in the home. Tiger T hasn’t bitten/scratched any person or animal. Behavior: Tiger T hasn’t been on a car ride. He isn’t bothered by the following: being brushed, having his nails trimmed or being placed into a carrier. He struggles to get away during bath time. Tiger T loves being picked up/held and hasn’t been disturbed while sleeping/resting. For a New Family to Know: Tiger T is described as friendly, affectionate, very playful, confident & quiet with a low-high activity level. When the owner is home Tiger T follows them around. He enjoys ball, mouse & string toys and is an indoor only cat that sleeps where ever, the dog or Kit & the other cat. Tiger T eats dry & wet Meow Mix 1-2x a day. He is uncovered litter box trained with clumping litter within. Tiger T scratches on a carpeted post. Intake Behavior: Tiger T had a soft body & soft eyes. He allowed all handling. Tiger T allowed to be scanned (-), collared & taken pictures of including positioning him during his photo session. Tiger T seemed to enjoy being picked up/held & was placed into a kennel with ease, once he even climbed onto my shoulder and sat as I lowered myself closer to the kennel since I saw him attempting to jump back in on his own.
